The Franklin County Commission holds its work session the second Monday of each month at 5:00 PM and its regular meeting the third Monday of each month at 8:30 AM. Work sessions and meetings are held in the conference room of the Elizabeth Lucas Courthouse Annex located at 405 Jackson Avenue North, Russellville, AL 35653 and are open to the public. Please see the FY2025-2026 Meeting Schedule for the current meeting schedule.
To be placed on the agenda to speak at the work session, please call the Commission Office at (256) 332-8850 by 10:00 AM on the Friday prior to the work session. Citizens can also speak in the public comments section during the meeting.
